About Me
Hi, my name is Nadia Heart. I’m Ukrainian graphic artist who works with ink on paper. I found my artistic expression in achromatic colours and pure lines. I was born and raised in Kyiv. I also live and work here. I’m in love with my city, which impresses with its history and cultural heritage. I also love to learn more about Ukrainian graphic art history and biographies of Ukrainian artists. So I also provide different social activities (book publishing, lecturing, education videos filming etc) to make people know more about Ukrainian cultural heritage.
Statement
My art is dedicated to Ukrainian cultural memory. I love to pay attention to the history or architecture of native city, to depict stories of some iconic personalities through the portraits, to implement some stylistic elements of old graphics into mine, for example, artistic reception of Ukrainian baroque engravings.
Also my art is environmental friendliness. I use only archive certificated acid free paper and recycle plastic bottles.
